For families

Explore the museum, try out the marble run and sound effects, experience a fascinating show production and in between unpack your picnic basket in the meadow - here there's always something for the whole family to enjoy!

The Museum Rally
Anyone who wants to explore the Gernheim glassworks on their own will get support from two glassmaker children, Auguste and Wilhelm. On the museum rally they will take kids on a journey of discovery through the glassworks. At the start of the rally they will be loaned a discovery card and a rucksack with utensils to be used during the rally. Tricky questions and exciting activities await the children at various stopping points. Anyone who manages to solve all the tasks can look forward to a little surprise!

Food and drink

At the moment the Gernheim glassworks does not possess its own catering service. Ice cream and cold drinks can be bought in the shop.

There are areas where you can enjoy any picnic you may have have brought with you. These include the manor house garden.

On the internet you will find a lot of information on restaurants and cafés in Petershagen and the surrounding area.

Dogs

Dogs may be taken on a leash into the outdoor area. However, dogs are not allowed in the buildings, with the exception of guide and assistance dogs.
